MY PHILOSOPHY
I believe furniture should be comfortable, useful, and enduring — and possess enough character to reward attention every day. My engineering background shapes how I approach structure, precision, and problem-solving, while furniture-making allows me to give those qualities warmth, movement, and human touch.
Quality is built through every stage of the process. It begins with selecting wood for its grain, color, strength, and suitability, then continues through careful milling, appropriate joinery, precise assembly, thorough surface preparation, and a finish that protects and enhances rather than conceals the wood. No single step makes a piece fine; each step builds upon the quality of the work that came before.
I accept al limited number of commissions so I can give each project the attention it deserves. The relationship begins with a conversation about how the piece will be used, where it will live, and what the client values. Because I am both the designer and the maker, clients work directly with me throughout the process. If you are seeking distinctive furniture with this level of care, I invite you to explore my work or begin a conversation about a commission.
